The Sharon Parsons Memorial Chapel and Amphitheater was constructed in September 2021 and features a 24'x24' covered pavilion, terraced seating with benches as well as church pew seating under the shelter. In 2024, it was further upgraded with a big screen TV and sound system which can be used for presentations, training, movies and other entertainment.
Another Eagle Scout project donation to the camp in May 2021, the Parade Field and Flag Poles serves as a central gathering location. It features three permanent lighted flag poles as well as the Sharon Parsons Memorial.
The Youth Gaming Pavilion is a 24'x24' covered pavilion on a concrete slab and features both booth and table seating for kids to play cards and board games as well as as access to soccer nets, basketball rims, horse shoe pits, cornhole boards and many other activities. Many different board games are available to check out from the Main Office in the Admin Building.
Ten 12'x12' cabins, built between 2020 and 2023, are scattered throughout the woods of Camp Parsons. Each cabin features bunk beds for 3-4 people, three windows and a ceiling fan to keep things cool in the warmer months, power, lights, CO2 and smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Small heaters are available to rent for a small fee (only enough to cover electricity usage) from the Admin Building when temperatures get cool.
Construction of the five Group Campsites began in May 2020. Each campsite features a 10'x20' covered pavilion on a concrete slab, space to comfortably fit 10-20 people and tents, 4-6 hammock stands, electricity, lights, a bear box for storing food, a countertop for cooking, a charcoal grill, a fire ring and a trash can.
One of the many Eagle Scout projects around Camp Parsons, the Camp Fire Ring was constructed in September of 2020. It is 8' in diameter and has convertible bench seating for at least 70-80 people.
The Archery Range at Camp Parsons features a 30'x12' covered shooting area to keep campers out of the sun/weather as well as an enclosed storage area for range equipment and supplies. The range area has a Kevlar net backstop, a multitude of targets and can support up to four simultaneous archers.
Constructed in September 2021, our BB Rifle & Slingshot range is for use by younger campers who would like to participate in activities that increase eye/hand coordination and mental focus.
Another Eagle Scout project, the Tomahawk Range features a shade cover, three concrete throwing platforms and targets and plenty of throwing axes.
